Alpha Eye Wyomissing is your neighborhood eye doctor located at 714 Woodland Rd. Your Wyomissing eyecare center offers genuine eye care where your eye health and wellness is our primary focus. Annual eye exams are a recommended cornerstone for ensuring the health of your eyes. In addition to checking for changes in your vision and updating your prescription, we will also look at your overall eye health, internally and externally. Prevention and early detection are keys to maintaining healthy eyes, as some eye health issues have no immediate symptoms but can still cause damage if left untreated. Dr. Michael Burkhart
Michael Burkhart O.D. is an optometrist at Pearle Vision where he provides vision care for our Wyomissing location. Dr.Burkhart graduated with a bachelor?s degree in biology at Albright college. He then went to The Pennsylvania College of Optometry receiving a BS in Visual Science and his doctorate of optometry. Dr.Burkhart prides himself on taking his time with each patient and specializes in Primary Eye Care. He prescribes glasses and contact lenses and is trained in treatment and management of ocular diseases. Dr.Burkhart is a Berks County native and currently resides with his wife and two children in Myerstown, PA. He serves his community as a member of the Jackson Township Zoning Hearing Board, and as an Assistant Scout Master with the Boy Scout Troop 420. He also serves as a Mason with the Williamson Lodge #307 in Womelsdorf, PA.
